TikTok · Creator Rewards ProgramCreator Growth Challenge
A 45-day, invitation-only program that pays creators cash rewards for hitting follower milestones. I wrote the copy across every channel it touched: the launch email, the landing page, the in-app dashboard, and the notifications that kept creators posting.

Hype that holds for 45 days
Rewards copy has an easy first day and a hard next 44. Anyone can make "$30,000 in cash rewards" sound exciting; the real work is keeping a creator posting through week four, understanding exactly what counts as an eligible video, and never feeling misled about when the money arrives.
Money copy also can't be vague. Every claim about amounts, deadlines, and eligibility had to be precise enough to survive a disappointed creator reading it a second time. The tone could be playful while the terms could not.
Phase 1: The invitation
Getting to “yes” in two channels
The email leads with selection, not obligation: "You've been selected" makes the invitation itself the first reward. The landing page then does the convincing with a visual milestone ladder, real creator stories, and a "built for creators like you" section that lets people self-qualify before they commit.
Launch email: You're Invited, Creator Growth Challenge, with benefits, agenda, and Join now buttons

Phase 2: The invitation
A dashboard that keeps score and keeps spirits up
The dashboard turns program rules into a game board: milestones as a progress track, the welcome reward as a week-by-week checklist, and weekly tips written like a coach ("Your views jumped 181.6% this week! You're clearly hitting the mark"). Encouragement is always attached to a number, so it reads as fact, not flattery.

System notification reading Post today to get $250, with progress context
Phase 3: The invitation
Celebrate now, set expectations for later
The reward moment does two jobs in three sentences: it celebrates ("You've unlocked your welcome reward"), then immediately answers the question every creator asks next: when do I get paid? "You'll receive all your rewards once the activity ends" heads off the support ticket before it exists.
Reward unlocked popup: You've unlocked your welcome reward, $250 added to total rewards
Process
The voice work was calibration: exciting enough to feel like an opportunity, never so hyped it reads as a scam. Money copy attracts skepticism, so every energetic claim sits next to a concrete one: exact reward amounts, exact deadlines, exact eligibility rules ("Post 5 eligible videos within your first 2 weeks").
Rewards copy wasn't new territory for me: on the technical writing side, I wrote the FAQs for Effect House's separate rewards programs, which taught me exactly where creators get confused about eligibility and payouts. That support-side experience shaped how this program's copy answers those questions before they're asked.
Takeaway
What this project proved
Playful and precise aren't opposites. The most motivating line in this program isn't the $30,000 headline; it's "you're 5 posts away." Specificity is what makes encouragement believable, and believable encouragement is what keeps a creator posting on day 38.
